Blush Photography and 6Pence Weddings teamed up to produce this romantic shoot at Rowena’s Inn on the River. They wanted to combine a bohemian romantic style at a classic venue, without anything too crafty or rustic.
The resulting slate blue colour palette with gold mercury glass accents and grey candles is current and fresh, while still maintaining a whimsical charm.
At the table, Sugar Patisserie served a three-tiered fondant-wrapped cake that featured hand-painted brush strokes in gold and shades of grey-blue. Alongside hand-painted cookies and a lavender grey table runner, the cake and décor are the perfect complement to Rowena’s stone-walled manor. Etch Artistries added a whimsical touch with scripted lettering on agate place cards.
Our Little Flower Company designed the cool-toned bouquet and centerpiece, drawing on the slate blue palette with hints of blue and muted lilac in the otherwise green and white arrangements.
Model Kelsey Pontalette brought grace and stoicism to the shoot. She wore the Alexandria gown by Truvelle, which is a soft dove grey, a slight variation on the classic white dress. Paired with a veil and jewellery from The Borrowed Collection, and with smoky makeup and loose waves by Kelsey Dickson, the look complemented the overall tone of the day.
